Before you file change of Registered Office address with ACRA you must have:

  1. A board resolution duly passed by the board of directors of the company.
  2. Approval letter from HDB if you are going to use HDB address as the registered office address.

How to file change of Registered Office address with ACRA:

Any Director or Company Secretary of the company can login into ACRA  bizfile website using his singpass and update the new address as well as effective date.

Alternatively you may get a professional corporate services provider to file change of Registered Office address as well to apply to HDB if needed.

After you have filed change of Registered Office address with ACRA:

Once the registered office address of the company has been changed with ACRA, it will be automatically updated with IRAS. However other government agencies with which company liaise with, such as- ministry of manpower, CPF board etc will be required to be informed separately as per their respective procedures. Normally an updated business profile of the company reflecting new address is required to be submitted to them along with their respective standard update of particulars forms.
